Passed Away
Monday of Last Week

Mrs. Frank Plunkett, one of the early residents of the county, passed away at her home near New Haven on Monday of last week. The funeral was held Wednesday, with burial from St. Peter's church. The Rev. Father Denner celebrated solem mass.

Deceased was born in Janesville, Jefferson county, Wis., in 1852, and came to Iowa in the year 1869. She was married to Frank Plunkett Jan . 1, 1874. To this union were born four sons and three daughters, two of whom died in childhood. The first sons and three daughters, two of 6 months and the second daughter, Theresa, passed away when 2 years of age.

Left to mourn her passing are three sons and two daughters, three grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. She was a woman of beautiful character. Her last illness brought her much suffering, but she bore it with wonderful fortitude. She fought the good fight; she finished her course; she kept the faith; and now receives that crown for which she labored.
