RUDD, IOWA — Services for Elmer Morische, 86, of rural Rudd who died Saturday at Faith Home, Osage, will be 2 p.m Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, south of Osage; burial in Calvary Cemetery, rural Osage.
He is survived by two sons, Gene of rural Nora Springs and Alan of Norwalk; a sister, Elsie Troge of Charles City; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Funeral services for Elmer Morische, age 86, of rural Rudd, Iowa, were held on Tuesday, December 18, 1984, at St. John's Lutheran Church southwest of Osage. Vicar G. Ruckman officiated, with burial at Calvary Cemetery in rural Osage. He died on Saturday, December 15, 1984, at Faith Home.
ELmer Morische was born on June 30, 1898 near Nora Springs, Iowa. He was the son of Albert and Anna Buckman Morische. He was united in marriage to Stella Decker on February 19, 1020. They farmed west of Osage and in 1942 moved to a farm south of Osage where he lived until he moved to Faith Home in 1981.
He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two sons, Gene of rural Nora Springs and Alan of Norwalk; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elsie Troge of Charles City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, one granddaughter and sisters and brothers.
