Myron Alton Julien – December 2, 1907 – March 6, 1964

MYRON A. JULIEN

Osage – Myron Alton Julien, 56, died of cancer in Erlanger, Germany. He had been overseas with the Civil Service in the U.S. Army elementary schools since 1951.

He was principal at Maynard and Oelwein before going to Germany.

Funeral services were held in Erlanger with burial in a U.S. Cemetery there.

Born in Rock Creek area, he was the son of Victor and Anna Julien. He was graduated from Upper Iowa University and Drake University.

Surviving are his wife, Hildegarde; a daughter; Mrs. Clarence Jordan, Waterloo; two grandchildren and his mother Mrs. Anna Julien.

MYRON JULIEN

Osage – Mrs. Anna Julien has returned from Washingtn, D. C. where she attended committal services for her son, Myron Alton Julien. He died in Erlangen, Germany, March 6th.
Rites were in Arlington Cemetery, March 19th, for the World War II Veteran.

He was an instructor for soldiers in a Civil Service capacity in Germany.

His widow Hildegarde, an American citizen, but a native of Germany, also attended the reites.
She returned to her home at Erlangen, Germany.
