Myrtle (Knowles) Barton – August 25, 1866 – July 14, 1945

FORMER RESIDENT DIES
Osage – A former Osage resident, Myrtle (Knowles) Barton, will be buried in Osage next week.
Daughter of George and Etta Knowles, she was born in Osage.
She left many years ago, residing at Denver, Colorado, at the time of her death.
Funeral services were held at Denver Tuesday and the bod will arrive in Osage for burial July 25th.

Myrtle Knowles was born August 25, 1866, the daughter of George W. Knowles and Henrietta (Stinchfield) Knowles.
She married Edward William Barton, in July 1893, the son of Charles and Pricilla Barton. They had two sons; George Knowles Barton born July 1898 and Richard Linwood Barton born March 12, 1902.
Myrtles parents and a brother are also buried in Osage Cemetery.
