Funeral services for Judith Kay (Duenow) Low, 53, who died March 13, 1997, were held on March 17, 1997 with Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, Iowa.
Judy, the daughter of Kenneth and Shirley Duenow, was born in Osage, Iowa, on March 21, 1943. She graduated from Osage Community Schools in 1961. She received her Associates Degree after attending Drake University and Rochester Junior College.
On November 29, 1964, Judy married David J. Low, son of Iola (Henderson) Low and Theodore Low at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. David and Judy have spent their married life in the St. Ansgar area. Judy used her time to care for her husband and his businesses, raise their children and worked for several years as an aide at the local Good Samaritan Center. She enjoyed spending time with family and sharing coffee with friends. Some of her favorite activities were traveling, gardening, reading and searching for antiques.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David; her children, Daniel Low of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; Laurel Feldt and husband, Spencer of Cameron, Wisconsin; and Kari Low of North Liberty, Iowa; her parents, Shirley and Kenneth Duenow of St. Ansgar; and her mother-in-law, Iola Low of Osage.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Edna Duenow and Justus and Theressa Palmer and her father-in-law Theodore Low.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Richard Brunner, Cliff Powers, Royal Dohler, Rol Schubert, Larry Dammen and Keith Horgen.Funeral home was Schoeder and Sites, St. Ansgar, Iowa.
