Sharon K. Cordle

Sharon K. Cordle, 54, of Osage, died Monday, September 19, 1994, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services were held Thursday morning, September 22, at the United Methodist Church in Osage, with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Champion Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of arrangements.

Sharon K. Cordle was born December 2, 1939, at Rockford, the daughter of Lawrence and Irene (Marrs) Ballhagen. She graduated from Rockwell High School in 1957. On April 13, 1958 she was married to Carroll Gene Cordle at Rockwell. They lived in Mason City until 1970 when they moved to Plymouth. They moved to Osage in 1981. She was employed at Mercy Family Care, Osage.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Osage, and was in the church choir.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll Gene Cordle, Osage; one daughter, Kristie Kobernusz, Mason City; two sons, Michael Cordle and wife, Audra, Fort Dodge; and Anthony Cordle and fiancée, Angela Anderson, both of Urbandale; her parents, Lawrence and Irene Ballhagen, Osage; one sister, Sandra Pippert, Mason City; two brothers, Donald Ballhagen, Sheffield, and Duane Ballhagen, Rockwell; three grandchildren, Dustin and Rachel Kobernusz, Mason City, and Kaylee Cordle, Fort Dodge; and two special friends, Cheryl Sluik and Judy Davies, both of Manly.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda.
