----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Notes: The January 6, 1949 issue of the Mitchell County Press announced the 40th anniversary of Erven Weldin and Lottie "Michaelius" who were married December 31, 1908, at Stacyville, and lived all their married lives on a farm in Mitchell Township.
(SB)NOTE: It is believed that the newspaper was in error in spelling the name Michaelif, and it should have been spelled Michaelis. Perhaps Michaelis is a slightly anglicized variant of the latin equivalent of Michaelius.
