Funeral services for Mrs. Iver Rossum, 92, who died February 16, 1977 at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, were held Friday afternoon. The Rev. Stephen Engelstad, pastor, was in charge of the rites at First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. C.R. Champion and Sons made the arrangements and burial was in the church cemetery.

Ida Elnora Ask was born November 28, 1884, in Cedar township, Mitchell county, the daughter of Ole and Olava Blagsvedt Ask. She was baptized and confirmed at Rock Creek Lutheran church and was educated in the rural school near her home. Iver Rossum and Ida Ask were married June 10, 1908. They farmed in Rock township until retiring to Osage in 1941. She had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center nine years.

Surviving are her son, Orland and one grandson, Vaughn of Osage; and two grandaughters.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Iver in 1964; her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
