OBITUARY:
Erma Laura Trout was the daughter of Elbert and Willey Trout. In 1903 Elbert and Willey, and their first two sons, Dewey Lancelot (1901) and Charles Lewis Palmer Trout (1902) moved from a farm in Illinois to Overbrook, Kansas where five more children were born, Herbert W, (2-20-1904). Erma Laura (9-7-1905), Wilma Frances (6-4-1907), Milton George (10-14-1908) and Hilan Jefferson (7-9-1910). They moved to Louisiana in 1913 where twin girls Loxie Marie and Roxie May were born June 21, 1914.
Erma married and left Iowa in the early 1950s. She lost her first husband, Earl Sperry, [Spelled "Sparry" in Elbert's obit] in an accident in the mountains when he was hit by a semi-trailer. They were living in Tucson, Arizona at the time. Erma's second husband, Ralph Culver, died in Tucson, Arizona, of a heart attack.
Erma died on April 19, 1991 at the age of 85.
