L. I. ROCKAFELLOW RITES WEDNESDAY AT SAINT ANSGAR
St. Ansgar – Lawrence I. Rockafellow, 61, a farmer in the Toeterville area, died Sunday at a Rochester Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in St. Ansgar with the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer officiating. Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home is in charge.
Born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, March 23, 1900, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rockafellow. He was married to Mary Lou Springer at Lindstrom, Minnesota, October 17, 1925.
Surviving are his wife, three sons, Delos, Mason City; Dean, Toeterville; Dale, Racine, Wisconsin; a daughter; Mrs. Leonard (Mary Lou) Amundson, St. Ansgar, and 20 grandchildren.
