Rita Catherine Alley, nee Heimerman, 73, beloved wife of 52 years to Walter; loving mother of Scot (Pam), Gregory (Joanne), Susan (Ralph) Monge and Mary Ruth (Alex) Velicki; proud grandmother of Jeff, Mike, John, Lia and Alana Alley, Winona (Jason) Driesbach, Joshua Monge, Jonathan (Melissa) Monge, Katherine and Alex Velicki; dearest sister of her twin Ruth (Byron) Spears, Bill (Marge), FR. Frank, Quint (Sally) Heimerman, Mary (Leness) Laliberde and the late Matt (Jean) Heimerman.

Retired executive secretary for president and board of directors of First National Bank of Libertyville. Rita was an exceptional person who truly practiced her Christian faith.

She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was revered by the many she touched with her kindness, generosity and devoted service.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17 from McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville to St. Joseph Church, Libertyville. Mass 10 a.m.

Interment Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. If desired memorial contributions to the A.L.S Foundation, Milwaukee Chapter 6909 W. North Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53213 would be greatly appreciated. Information 847-362-2626

Rita Catherine Heimerman was born August 2, 1928 in Stacyville, Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of Anton Heimerman and Magdalena (Ginsterblum). She married Walter Vern Alley Jr.
