Funeral services for Reinhold William Dreher Jr., 82, who died at Cherokee last Friday were Monday at the Sheckler Funeral Home in Nora Springs, Iowa with the Rev. W. G. Pfeffer, pastor of the American Lutheran Church in charge.

Reinhold W. Dreher Jr. was born March 17, 1862 in Hamburg, Germany to Reinhold and Emma Miller Dreher Sr. He immigrated to America with his family on September 3, 1863. They lived for a short period in New York City and then settled in Mitchell/Floyd County area.
Reinhold was married to Rose Margaret Scheffel on November 12, 1889 in Worth County, Iowa. Ten children were born to the couple. Four of whom died in infancy.
Surviving children are Gladys Anderson, Roy, Carl, Margaret, and Ida Norris. Also four brothers, Frederick, Carl, William and Otto; two sisters, Minnie Conners and Margaret Harcourt of Mitchell, County.
Preceding him in death were four children, dying in infancy; son, Harold; brother, Edward; sisters, Augusta, Amanda, Emma, and Lena.
