Funeral services are today, Wednesday, July 16, 1986 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage for Lewis Reis, of Osage. Mr. Reis died on Sunday, July 13, 1986 at an Osage nursing home. Rev. L. Connolly officiated and burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Roseville.

Mr. Reis was born on May 9, 1904 in Marble Rock, Iowa, to John J. and Josephine (Gerhard) Reis. He was educated in the Roseville school and married Dorothy Berkhardt on June 7, 1934.

The couple farmed in the St. Ansgar area for 32 years and after retirement moved to Osage.

Mr. Reis was a member of the Knights of Columbus fourth degree and served as township clerk for Rock Township in Mitchell County.

Survivors inlcude his wife, Dorothy of Osage; a son, Marvin of Osage; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John (Theresa) Kramer of Rockford, and Mrs. Magdaline Greiner and Mrs. Catharyn Greiner, both of Reinbeck; and a brother, Earl of Charles City, Iowa.
