Word has been received of the death of John F. Retterath, 43, of Estridge, Tennessee, and formerly of Stacyville. He was killed in a plane crash on June 8, 1986.
Memorial services were held on Monday, June 23, 1986 at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou of Lake Worth, Florida; his children, Jay, Tara, Samantha and Nicholas, and one grandchild; his mother, Effie Retterath of Stacyville, four brothers: Mike of Burnsville, Minnesota, Jim of Austin, Minnesota, Joe of Circle Pines, Minnesota, and Gene of Grafton; six sisters: Mrs. Clayton D. (Rosann) Meyer of Austin, Minnesota, Phyllis Retterath of Janesville, Iowa, Mrs. Del (Bev) Theobald of Stacyville, Mrs. Steve (Martha) Hoevet of Stacyville, Mrs. Alden (Dorothy) Crooks of Rudd, and Mrs. Ken (Mary) Crooks of Charles City.
The family requests all memorials be given to the John F. Retterath Memorial Fund.
