Ione Blanchard Squier

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 24, 1986 at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Osage, for Mrs. Maurice (Ione) Squier, 65, of Osage. She died on Saturday, June 21, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in St. Ansgar. Rev. R. Magstadt officiated and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Mrs. Squier was born on August 18, 1920 at LuVerne, to Daniel and Rose (Wambier) Blanchard. She was educated in LaVerne schools. She married Maurice Squier on April 6, 1947 at Algona, and they moved to Mitchell County, living in the Osage and Orchard areas.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice; a daughter, Joyce Wright of Lowry City, Missouri; two sons, Gerald and James, both of St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Marilyn) Schipull of Wesley and two brothers, Clifford Blanchard of Alogona and Howard Blanchard of Mason City.
