Clara Helen (Rich) Briggs .. October 11, 1860 – January 20, 1945

Clara Helen Briggs
Mrs. Clara Helen Briggs, died Saturday at her home, 832, Channel St.
Born in McIntire, Iowa, 84 years ago, she lived here 22 years, and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
The widow of Henry Briggs, she leaves 3 sons, Lynn of San Pedro; Earl, Waterloo, Iowa; and Gordon, Omaha, Nebraska; three daughters; Mrs. Marie Dunn, Lomita; Mrs. Nina Cole, Hollydale; and Mrs. Myrtle Gilman, Minneapolis, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the 576 Sixth St. Mortuary, with the Reverend Wesley Robb officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Compton

Clara Helen Rich was the daughter of William Rich and Marian (Andrews) Rich. She married Henry Briggs, the son of Thomas and Susanna (Johnson) Briggs.
