RICEVILLE, IOWA — Rosella E. Grover, 85, of Riceville, died Thursday, April 17, at Riceville Family Care & Therapy Center.

She was born March 23, 1923, near Elma, daughter of William and Esther Bartels Groth. On July 16, 1941, she married Franklin R. Grover in Riceville. He died April 16, 1980.

Mrs. Grover graduated from high school in Boone and was a farm wife for more than 40 years.

Survived by a son, Richard (Lavon) of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy (Hank) Hensen of Perry and Lavon (Stan) Olander of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.

Services were at 11 a.m. today, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riceville, with family burial services in Riverside Cemetery. Conway Funeral Home, Riceville, was in charge of arrangements.
