Deaths - Mrs. Julia Peterson
Mrs. Julia Peterson, 84, died Monday night at Raymond's Nursing Home after a lingering illness.
A resident of Lyle, she is survived by a son, Donald of Austin; a sister, Mrs. Hanna Schwanke, Lyle; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon.

Funerals - Peterson
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Peterson, Lyle, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Worlein Funeral Home, Rev. Merland Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa. Friends may call from 10 a.m., Wednesday, until 1:30 p.m., Thursday. The family prefers memorials.

Obituaries - 1879 - Julia Peterson 1964
Julia Peterson was born on December 14, 1879, in Norway, the daughter of Amund and Helga Olson.
With her parents, she came from Norway at the age of one year and lived in the Lyle area her lifetime. She attended Minnereka School and on December 23, 1901, she married John Peterson at Lyle. Mrs. Peterson was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lyle, and Circle 2.
She died March 23, 1964, at Raymond's Nursing Home, Austin, after being ill two years.
Surviving are a son, Donald; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Schwanke, Lyle; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, three brothers.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. March 26, at Austin with the Worlein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa. Rev. Johnson officiating.
Out-of-town persons attending came from Jackson, Minneapolis, Mankato, St. Ansgar.
