We learn that T.H. Thorson is not improving as fast as was expected. The weather is rather unfavorable for a sick person which is supposed to be the primary cause of his not gaining faster.

Obituary -

Thor H. Thorson, whose illness we have noted from time to time, died last Monday night at 11 o'clock. He was taken sick about December 15th with pneumonia and several physicians pronounced his case hopeless, still he lived through the most critical stages of the disease and it was believed for some time that his recovery was certain.

A relapse, however, set in and he failed gradually until Monday night when he died in great agony. Deceased was about twenty-nine years of age.

He was born and raised in Newburg township in the very building in which he died.

Mr. Thorsen was married several years ago to Miss Carrie Olsen who died six months later. The funeral will be held at the Norwegian Lutheran church tomorrow. Thus another young man has been called to his final home. The relatives and friends have the sympathy of all our people in this their hour of poignant grief.
