HELM, 73, DIED AT OSAGE HOME
SUCCUMBS WEEK AFTER DEATH OF WIFE; FUNERAL TO BE THURSDAYOsage , March 14 – William Jasper Helm, 73, died Monday evening at his home in Osage just a week after the death of his wife.
The aged couple had expressed the wish that each might pass on at the same time.
Mr. Helm was born In Lafayette County, Wisconsin, on October 8, 1860, coming with his parents to Mitchell County at the age of seven, and locating in Cedar Township.
Except for one year in Cerro Gordo County, his home had been here.
He is survived by one sister; Mrs. W. M. Butts of Belle Fourche, South Dakota; and two brothers, C. T. Helm of Rockford; and E. R. Helm of Lafayette, Oregon.
Funeral services are announced for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shelledy Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. J. D. Kern.
