HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. HENRY KINTER IN MCINTIRE CHURCH
McIntire – Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Methodist Church here for Mrs. Henry Kinter, 68, who died Sunday at a hospital in Charles City, where she had been a patient for two weeks. The Rev. Bell of Riceville officiated and burial was in Wayne Cemetery near McIntire.
Mrs. Kinter had lived in this vicinity her entire life.
Surviving are her husband; four children; Avery of Chester; Clayton of Chester; Bernard of Marshalltown; and Mrs. Ralph Buehler of Waterloo; and one brother Elmer Shipman of St. Ignatius, Montana.

#2:Jennie Shipman was born January 1874 in Illinois, the daughter of William H. Shipman and Jane S. (Guild) Shipman. (her parents’ names from census, and also, her brother George Shipman’s obit has her mentioned as his sister).
Iowa Cemetery Records (Ancestry.com) show her mother burial record in Wayne Cemetery as Jane S. Shipman.
Jennie married Henry Kinter (1869-1956), the son of Christian and Anvilla Kinter.

Jennie (Shipman) Kinter was the daughter of William H. and Jane (nee Guild) Shipman. Her parents are also buried in the Wayne Cemetery. She married Henry Kinter, the son of Christian Kinter and Avilla (Porter) Kinter.According to the 1880 U.S. Census, Jennie was born in Illinois.
