Funeral Services
Held at His Home
in West Mitchell

MITCHELL, IOWA — The funeral of Claybourne Cheney, 82, who died at his home in West Mitchell Monday morning following a paralytic stroke was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Champion Funeral Home at Osage in charge of the Rev. T. P. Solem, pastor of the Osage Lutheran Church.

Burial was made in Oak Grove Cemetery at Mitchell.

Beside the widow he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Jacobson, Mitchell; Mrs. Walter Vogel and Miss Edna Cheney of Washington, D. C., and Miss Vivian Cheney of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Clyde Ritter of Mitchell and Clarice Ritter of Waterloo.

Clayborne L. Cheney was married to Minnie Fredica Walter Cheney. Together they raised four daughters in West Mitchell: Chloe, Esther, Edna and Vivian Cheney.
