Funeral services for Mrs. Stanley (Lucille) Tusler, 71, of Osage, were held Tuesday, march 18 at the United Church of Christ in Osage, Iowa. Rev. K. Hejnal officiated, and burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Mrs. Tusler died on Saturday, March 15, 1986, at her home.
She was born on September 23, 1914 in New York City, to Forrest and Florence (Hoberg) Krueger. She graduated from Hackensack High School, Hackensack, New Jersey, and the University of Wisconsin.
She and Stanley Tusler were united in marriage on June 11, 1938 at Haworth, New Jersey. In 1947, the couple moved to Mitchell County. She was a housewife, past Matron of Eastern Star, Rainbow mother adviser, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley; a daughter, Gretchen of Osage; two sons, Wade of Tacoma, Washington, and Scott of Osage; and nine grandchildren.
