Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 24, 1986, at the United Methodist Church in St. Ansgar for Rose A. Mueller, 94, of St. Ansgar. She died on Monday, April 21, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in St. Ansgar. Rev. Lloyd Johnson officiated and burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Mrs. Mueller was born on December 21, 1891 in Eldorado, Kansas, to William and Augusta (Wagner) Bernstein. She was educated in rural St. Ansgar schools, and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1911.
She worked as a telephone operator in St. Ansgar for several years, and married Adolf R. Mueller on November 19, 1919. The couple had one son, Beryl William.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Ansgar, a life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and her son.
Nieces and nephews survive.
