Joseph John Heimermann -- April 10, 1919- Oct. 9, 2006

Joseph John Heimermann was born in Stacyville, Iowa, to Michael and Anna (Rauen) Heimermann.
On Oct. 10, 1944, he married Angeline Albertson in Cresco, Iowa. She is deceased.

A veteran of the Army, Mr. Heimermann was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He worked at John Deere for 32 years in Waterloo, Iowa, before retiring Nov. 1, 1978.

Mr. Heimermann also was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greeley.

Mr. Heimermann died Monday at his residence in Greeley, Colorado

Survivors: A son, Gary Heimermann of Fort Collins; two sisters, Stella Smith and husband Leo of Stacyville and Dorthy Larson and husband Loris of Austin, Minn.; two sisters-in-law, Marcene Heimermann of Stacyville and Judy Heimermann of Austin; two brothers, John Heimermann and wife Theresa of Albert Lea, Minn., and Gilbert Heimermann and wife Shirley of Austin; and many nieces and nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Preceded in death by: His parents, his wife and a sister Rose Mullenbach, and two brothers Gregor Heimermann and Paul Heimermann.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Interment: Garden of Memories in Waterloo.

Notes: Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to the Joseph Heimermann memorial fund in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 28th St., Greeley, CO 80634
