ELLA SELMA (SCHMIDT) BRANDT -- August 31, 1893 – April 25, 1962

MRS. FRED BRANDT RITES SATURDAY AT ST. ANSGAR
St. Ansgar – Mrs. Fred Brandt, 68, died Wednesday at her home here. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Carl Wuerffel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Glenda) Olson, Austin, Minnesota, and a grandson.

Ella Selma Schmidt was born August 31, 1893 in Mitchell Co., Iowa. She married Frederick Edward Brandt on December 1, 1912, the son of Fred Brandt and Emily (Schroeder) Brandt. She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick Marvin, on February 26, 1932.
