Inger Bergitte Berg was born June 1886 in Illinois to Henry Berg and Kari Eriksdatter (Halvorsen).
The family can be found in the 1895 census at Marion, Clayton, Illinois, Inger is 8 years old. Her family moved to Rock Township, Mitchell, County, Iowa and are found in the 1900 census there: Henry Berg 45, Carrie Berg 42, Inger Berg 13, Hans Berg 12, Helga Berg 10, Clara Berg 8, Olga Berg 6, Caspera Berg 4, Arthur Berg 3 and Tillie Berg 19.
Inger is also found in the 1905 census at Rock, Mitchell, IA.
Inger married Anton Theodore Krogstad on August 29, 1908 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, IA.
They are found in the 1910 census at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa farming: Anton Krogstad 23, Inger Krogstad 23. They had no children.
Inger Bergitte Berg Krogstad died on September 28, 1921 Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
