HEUER, MCGLAMORY, BOWER, NOLTING

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 28, 1986 at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, Iowa, for Bernard Richard (Dick) Heuer. Father J. Heineman of the St. Ansgar Catholic Church officiated. Burial was at the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Iowa, with military honors by the Walter T. Enneberg Post No. 358 of the American Legion of St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Mr. Heuer died on February 26, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Bernard Richard Heuer was born on November 29, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri to Bernard H. and Pearl (McGlamory) Heuer. Mr. Heuer attended school in Kansas City. He was a lifetime truck driver except for four years when he was in the Army during World War II. He also was a member of the American Legion Post No. 358 in St. Ansgar.

Dick married Harriett Bower on February 8, 1944 in Olathe, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Harriett of St. Ansgar, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Garry (Mary Jane) Nolting of Waterloo, Iowa; one son, Bernard Allen Heuer of Mason City, Iowa; five granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Rosemary Clark of Kansas City.
