SCHROEDER, Eldor 1927-1992

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 1992, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage, Iowa, for Eldor Schroeder, 84, of Osage. Rev. Norman Betke will officiate and burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Riceville, with military rites conducted by the American Legion.

Eldor Schroeder was born on September 23, 1927 at Cole Camp, Missouri, to Rev. Walter and Meta (Hartwig) Schroeder. He attended Holy Cross School in Cole Camp and graduated from St. Paul's Academy at Concrodia, Missouri. He then attended Concordia Seminary at Springfield, Illinois.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean conflict.

Mr. Schroeder was employed by Oliver Corp. in Charles City, Iowa, and Senaca Foods, Rochester, Minnesota.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include four sisters: Helen Toomey of Rochester, Minnesota, Ruth Lubbert of Puyallup, Washington; Mildred Eichelberger of Longmont, Colorado; and Lois Neumann of Elgin, Minnesota; and one brother, Armin Schroeder of Rochester, Minnesota.
