Kenneth E. Kapka 1916-1984
Funeral services for Kenneth E. Kapka, 67, were held Monday, April 30, 1984, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Riceville, with Rev. B. Hinrichs officiating.
Mr. Kapka, of Thompson, Iowa, passed away on April 28, 1984 in the Forest City Community Hospital in Forest City, Iowa. He had been ill for about six weeks.
Kenneth Kapka was born on May 13, 1916, in Riceville, Iowa, the son of Charles and Louise Kapka. He was a plumber by occupation. He had served in the armed forces, but no information concerning his service career was listed on the information sheet.
On June 20, 1939, in Riceville, Iowa, he was united in marriage to Hazel Womack, and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Thompson; three daughters: Mrs. Darryl Engelhardt, Mrs. Allen Enderson, and Mrs. Donald Reicks; one brother, Lyle Kapka, Rowan, Iowa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Riceville, with the Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
