MARY LOUELLA MORSE

She was born July 23, 1916 in Osage, Iowa to Jud and Rose Bailey, and went to be with her Lord on April 6, 2011.

She came from a large family of 2 sisters and 5 brothers that all passed before her. She graduated from high school in Osage, Iowa. She married Dale Morse on Dec. 13, 1941 in Osage Iowa. He passed away May 13, 1991. They have one daughter, Rosalynn Valley of Chico. She has two granddaughters, Tami Valley of Sacramento and Cherie Valley of Seattle, Washington.

The family moved to Napa, California in 1957. After their daughter married, they moved to Eugene and Grants Pass, Oregon during the years of 1965 until 1984, when they moved to Chico to be closer to their daughter and her family.

She moved to the Monterey House Assisted Living, where she enjoyed helping with cooking, projects at the house, putting puzzles together, and watching her favorite TV shows. She always enjoyed visiting with her many friends who stopped by.

Her Memorial Service will be at held at Redeemer Lutheran Church on April 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Butte Home Hospice in her memory.

Her husband Dale Morse was buried in the Orchard Cemetery, Orchard, Mitchell, Iowa. Her parents Jud and Rose (Ferguson) Bailey are buried in the Osage Cemetery.
