LEROY WOMAN DIES IN RICEVILLE
Leroy, Minn. – Mrs. Louise Thompson, 93, died Thursday at a rest home in Riceville where she had been a patient five years.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Martz Funeral Home with burial in LeRoy Cemetery.
She was born in LeRoy and 25 years ago donated her home property to the village. It is now known as Wildwood Park.
Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.

Louise Hambrecht was born in December 1866 in LeRoy, Mower, Minnesota, the daughter of Conrad and Wilhemina (Wirth) Hambrecht.
In 1860 the family was living in Stacyville, Mitchell, Iowa and by the 1870 Census they were in LeRoy, Minnesota.
She married Fred G. Thompson born July 1866 in Minnesota in 1899 and by the 1900 Census she and Frank were living in Escondido, San Diego Co., California. He was listed as an undertaker.
