SINNING, LUBBERS, BRANDAU

Funeral services were held Friday, January 23, 1987, at Eden Presbyterian Church, rural Rudd, for Norval Sinning, 55, of rural Rudd. The Rev. J. Bates officiated and burial was in Eden Presbyterian Cemetery. Mr. Sinning died Tuesday, January 20, 1987 at the Charles City hospital of an apparent heart attack.

He was born October 31, 1931 at Kamrar to Henry F. and Bertha (Lubbers) Sinning. He graduated from Kamrar High School in 1948 and attended the University of Dubuque. He married Elinor Brandau on December 20, 1951 in rural Rudd.

Mr. Sinning worked in Sheffield and then returned to farm in rural Rudd in 1954. he was employed by Allied RediMix Co. in Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Elinor, rural Rudd; two daughters, Mrs. Randall (Elizabeth) Houston of Storm Lake, and Karen Sinning of Branson, Missouri; three sons: Michael of Rockford and Daniel and Kevin, both at home; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Mildred) of Cedar Falls; two brothers, the Rev. Carl of Manning and the Rev. Bill of Corning.
