Donald Isaac Graves ca. 1908-1962
DONALD GRAVES SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK
Riceville – Donald I Graves, 54, died Friday morning at his home here following a heart attack. He was employed by the Grupp Construction Co.
Born in Mitchell, he was the son of Isaac and Ida Mae (Smith) Graves. He was married to Gladys Pearl (Cameron) Brown at Galena, Illinois, March 2, 1931.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl; his mother; Ida Mae Graves, Covina, California; a son Robert, Riceville; a daughter; Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Buttolph, Lime Springs; a stepdaughter; Miss Marie Brown, Washington, D. C.; a brother; Charles, Covina; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. Robert Leverenz will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.
