RUBY G. SUNDRE DIES IN NEW YORK
Carpenter – Friends have received word of the death of Ruby (Groner) Sundre, 90, at Pittsford, New York.
Her husband, Olaf, died seven years ago and since that time she has made her home with her son, George.
She also leaves two daughters; Opal and Blanche; and two sisters; Mrs. Iva Mitchell; and Mrs. Joy Larson, both of Desert Hot Springs, California.
Her brother, Clyde Groner, died Thanksgiving Day in California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva (Durkee) Groner, the daughter of the late Edgar Durkee, Carpenter.
The Groners are descendants of a Mitchell County pioneer family.

Ruby Groner was born May 1871 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Henry Groner and Mary Elizabeth (Getts) Groner. Her parents are buried in Saint Ansgar Cemetery.
