MRS. JOHNSON BURIED AT LYLE; HUSBAND IN BED FOR PAST 4 YEARS
Lyle, Minn. -- Mrs. Dorwan Johnson, nee Grace Thompson, 32, daughter of Tom Thompson of this place, died at a hospital in Minneapolis Tuesday after having undergone an operation for adhesions last Saturday.
Mrs. Johnson submitted to an operation last winter in Minneapolis from which she had never fully recovered. Her husband has been bedridden in the Veterans Hospital at Fort Snelling four years.
She leaves, besides her invalid husband, one son, Donald, 6; her father, Tom Thompson; two sisters; Mrs. Roy Volstad of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Mrs. Art Fortun of Lyle; and one brother; Clifford Thompson of Badger, Minn.; besides other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Lyle Lutheran church, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. O. M. Laugehough is in charge.
