Henry Oliver Anderson 1872-1961

Lyle, Minn. – H. O. Anderson, 89, former Lyle resident, died Friday, his 89th birthday, in Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mona Lutheran Church. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona.

Born December 29, 1873, on the Blakestad homestead near Otranto, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew H. Anderson. He was married to Mamie Everson, September 2, 1899.

Surviving are his wife, three sons, Russell and Merle, Minneapolis; Andres, Los Angeles; a daughter; Mrs. William (Evelyn) Schermer, Waterloo; four grandchildren; two brothers; R. A. Anderson, Lyle; G. R. Anderson, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. B. J. (Bertha) Robertson, Minneapolis.
