MRS. O. HANSON RITES SATURDAY
SERVICES TO BE AT MANLY FUNERAL HOME

Mrs. Olivia Hanson, 85, Plymouth, died at the Good Samaritan home in Mason City Wednesday following a lingering illness.

Born in Norway, she came to America at the age of 18 and settled in Mitchell County, Iowa. She was married to John Hanson at Otranto, Iowa, and they made their home on a farm near there until 1931, when they retired and moved to Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943.

Surviving are 5 sons; Julius Hanson, Plymouth; Henry Hanson, Des Moines; Edward Hanson, Cedar Rapids; Martin Hanson, Boise, Idaho; and Albert Hanson, Northwood; and 3 daughters; Mrs. Janette Elke, Kenosha, Wisconsin; Mrs. Vernon Burns, Algona; and Mrs. Otto Brunsvold, Kensett; and 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bride Funeral Home at Manly and at 3 p.m. at the Mona Lutheran church, Mona, Iowa. Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Mona. The Bride Funeral Home in charge.
