Maud May (Pratt) Young 1874-1951

Little Cedar -- Funeral services for Mr. Earl Young, 76, will be at the Methodist Church in Little Cedar at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.

Nee Maud May Pratt, she was born August 4, 1874 at Chatsworth, Illinois, the daughter of Alice and Thomas Pratt. She was married to Earl B. Young, May 15, 1909, at Hastings, Nebraska.

They farmed in Illinois, coming to Mitchell County, Iowa in 1913.

They retired from the farm in 1933 to reside in Little Cedar. Her husband died November 16, 1950.
