John M Roe 1871-1930
FORMER ORCHARD ELEVATOR MAN DIES IN EAGAN, MINN.
Orchard, Sept. 17 – Word has been received of the death of J. M. Roe at Eagan, Minn.
The funeral was held there today at 2 o’clock. Mr. Roe operated an elevator here before moving to Eagan.

John M Roe was born May 1871 in Minnesota, according to the Census Records. He lived in Mitchell Co., and in Orchard, Mitchell Co., in the 1920 and 1925 Census records. Also listed was a wife Anne born Sept. 1871 and a son Frederick born abt 1907. The 1925 Iowa Census has his parents names as Ole Roe born Norway and Dema Lockin. His wifes parents are listed as Wm. Lagmrock and ??King. (spelling??) In 1925 he is listed by himself and his wife and son are listed under another record.
