OSAGE WOMAN’S RITES ARE HELD
MRS. LOUISE JOHNSON, 81, DIES AFTER ILLNESS OF ONE WEEK
Osage, Dec. 15 – Services for Mrs. Louise Johnson, 81, who died Thursday morning at her home, 815 East Mechanic Street after a week in bed, were held Saturday.
She was born in Sweden, April 28, 1849 and she and her late husband, Nels Johnson, came to this country in 1885 and to Osage in 1904. Mr. Johnson died September 20, 1927.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Anna Edmund of Moorhead, Minnesota; and Miss Frieda Johnson at home, also a sister in Sweden and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the home with the Rev. Sylvester E. Ellis, Methodist church, in charge. Burial was in the local cemetery.
