TESCH, NACK, WILMOT, WALK

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 10, 1985, for Edwin Tesch, 67, of Osage, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. The Rev. Belk officiated, and burial was in the Osage City Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 278 of Osage. Mr. Tesch died Saturday, December 7, 1985 at his home.

He was born on March 23, 1918, in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, to Henry J. and Augusta (Walk) Tesch. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1936.

On July 22, 1940, he was married to Stacia Florence Wilmot. He was a veteran of World War II. He was the owner and operator of the Chat and Nibble Cafe in Osage from 1936 to 1952, and owner and operator of the Dairy Sweet Drive Inn in Osage.

Mr. Tesch was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was also a member of the Faith Home Board of Directors and former member of the Osage City Council. He was Commissioner of Veterans Affairs in Mitchell County and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Stacia Florence; one son, Frederick of New Fairfield, Conn.; one sister, Esther Nack of Osage; four brothers, Clarence of El Reno, Oklahoma; Reuben of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, Harold of Victoria, Texas, and Arthur of Osage.
