Graveside committal services for Avis Hollingsworth, 88 of Duluth, Minnesota, were Friday, August 24 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell. She died Thursday, August 16 at her home. The Reverend John Bates officiated at the service.
Born in Chapin, she was a retired elementary school teacher and had lived in Duluth, Minnesota since 1921. Her parents were Samuel Hollingsworth and Mary Leonard.
Several cousins survive.

OSAGE, IOWA -- Graveside committal services for Avis Hollingsworth, 88, of Duluth, Minnesota, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell, Iowa. She died August 16, 1984 at home.
Born in Chapin, she was a retired elementary school teacher and had lived in Duluth, Minnesota, since 1921.
The Rev. John Bates will officiate.
Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of local arrangements.
Several cousins survive.
