RITES SUNDAY AT OSAGE FOR RETIRED FARMER
Osage – Funeral services for Emil A. Krause, 76, will be held Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in the Rock Creek Cemetery east of Grafton. He died suddenly Wednesday evening at his home in Osage after several years’ illness from an asthmatic condition.
Survivors include his wife, daughters Miss Laura, of Waterloo; and Mrs. Gayden Jordan, who lives on the home farm, four grandchildren and a sister; Mrs. Otto (Martha) Rieck, Grafton.
Mr. Krause was born November 26, 1877, to August and Amelia D. Krause in Newburg Township, Mitchell County. On October 23, 1905, he was married to Anna Walk. They lived on the farm until retiring to Osage where they purchased a home nine years ago
