Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 2, 1985, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage for Milton Baldwin, 79, of Osage. The Rev. J. Gilbert of David Community Church officiated, and burial was in the Osage City Cemetery. He died on Thursday, October 31, 1985, at the St. Ansgar nursing home.
Mr. Baldwin was born on September 7, 1906, in Floyd county, Iowa. His family moved to Wisconsin where he attended schools. In 1927 he returned to Iowa and lived in the Osage area. He was a farm hand for many years and later worked in the Cedar Valley Produce Co. He then worked for 12 years as custodian in the Osage High School. Following retirement he operated a bike shop in his home in Osage.
He is survived by four sisters; Alta Bettey of Cameron, Wisconsin, Myrtle Olson of Poskin, Wisconsin, Bertha Gillit of Chetek, Wisconsin, and Mable Prine of Barron, Wisconsin; two brothers, Leonard Baldwin of Osage and Elmer Baldwin of Mesa, Arizona; a stepsister, Alberta Gaulke of Rice Lake, Wisc.; and a stepbrother, George Smith of New Richmond, Wisc.
