KENNY, Ella 1896-1985
Funeral servces were held on Monday, July 15, 1985, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, who died on Thursday, July 18, 1985 at an Osage nursing home. The Rev. L. Connolly officiated, and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mrs. Kenny was born on October 27, 1896 at Lawler, the daughter of Terry and Mary Connell McCabe. She graduated from Lawler High School and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She taught in Sioux City, South Dakota. She and William H. Kenny were married in 1922 in South Dakota. In 1943 they moved to Osage.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1974.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Phyllis) Parr of Joliet, Illinois, and Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Fox of Waterloo; two sons, Bill, Jr. of Osage and Patrick of Holbrook, Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
