JOHN LOGEMANN RITES ARE CONDUCTED IN NORTHWOOD CHURCH

Northwood, Oct. 12 – Funeral services for John H. Logemann, 74, were held here yesterday afternoon at the Northwood Lutheran Church. The Rev. J. W. Ylvisaker conducted the rites.
Burial was made in Deer Creek Cemetery 10 miles east of Northwood.

Mr. Logemann died at his home in Northwood Sunday following a prolonged period of illness and invalidism. He was a native of Germany where he learned the blacksmithing trade as a boy.

After coming to America, he settled in Worth County about 47 years ago and was a blacksmith at the village of Meltonville for 25 years, later acquiring a farm west of that town.

Retiring from the farm, he moved to Northwood about seven years ago, purchasing a home on East Central Avenue.

He is survived by his wife and four sons; Henry, who occupies the old home farm in Deer Creek Township; Fred and Barney, both of the Meltonville vicinity in Deer Creek Township; and Charley, who resides in Northwood.
