FUNERAL WEDNESDAY FOR ROSE CREEK MAN
Carpenter – Funeral services for Peter Gordon, 83, Rose Creek, Minn., will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Deer Creek Lutheran church with the Rev. O. A. Langehough in charge. Burial will be in the family lot in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gordon died Saturday afternoon at St. Olaf hospital in Austin, Minn., where he had been a patient for several weeks.
He is survived by 4 daughters; Mrs. Sever Knutson and Mrs. Leonard Anderson, Carpenter; Mrs. Oscar Blum, Austin, Minn.,; and Mrs. Weis of LeRoy, Minn., 3 sons; Purl; Glen; and Arthur of Rose Creek, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Peter Adolf Gordon was born December 5, 1867 in Wright Co., Iowa, the son of Nels Gordon and Christina Margareta (Nelson) Gordon. He married Theoline Simonsdatter “Lena” Myhre, the daughter of Simon and Ingeborg Myhre. Lena was born January 14 1870 and died May 18, 1941.
