OTRANTO WOMAN DIES; FUNERAL TO BE SATURDAY
Osage – Funeral services for Mrs. August Bork, 54, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church west of Carpenter. She died Tuesday at a hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, following a cerebral hemorrhage. Officiating will be the Rev. Olaf Langehough of St. Ansgar with the Champion Funeral Home of Osage in charge.
Survivors include her husband, son Dale at Otranto, two daughters; Mrs. Lawrence Stetter of Otranto; and Miss Betty of St. Ansgar; four grandchildren and two sisters; Mrs. Josie Dreher of St. Paul, Minn.; and Mrs. Frank Hilton of Sand Point, Idaho.
Born Lillie Virchow April 27, 1890, she was the daughter of Herman and Bertha Virchow of Grafton. She was married to August Bork on February 16, 1921, and the family resided at Otranto.
