CONDUCT LAST RITES FOR A. W. APPLETON, 61, OSAGE, FRIDAY
Osage – Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John D. Kern of the Osage Baptist church for Arthur W. Appleton, 61, who died at his home Wednesday morning following a month’s serious illness.
He spent his entire life in Osage.
Surviving are his widow and three children; James of Osage; Mrs. Ernest Krebsbach of Sumpter, Minnesota; and Mrs. Cliff Loomis of Altkin, Minnesota.
Burial will be made in the Osage Cemetery.

Arthur William Appleton was born November 14, 1879 in Osage, Iowa, the son of James Burney Appleton and Louise (Walker) Appleton.
He married Alma Marie Hubbard, the daughter of Beal Edgar Hubbard and Ida Jane (Hurd) Hubbard
